Stearic Acid, Triple Pressed is a white, odorless, mild fatty waxlike solid composed primarily of the long-chain saturated fatty acid octadecanoic acid, refined through repeated pressing to remove oleic acid for higher purity. It is used in the preparation of metallic stearates, as a lubricant, and in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, candles, and food packaging, valued for its excellent lubricity, emulsifying ability, and stability.
